By Michael B
The "money" being about a quarter of what you'd pay for similar Calphalon, Tramontina and Cuisinart clad products at the time of this writing. A tiny fraction of an All-Clad pan's price. I don't know if I would have opted for this pan at it's normal retail price, the company is relatively new and I have no idea how well they would handle warranty issues. But at a price only a couple of bucks more than shipping, who cares? Since this is the first review, I'll preempt the inevitable, "everything sticks in this pan" review. It's not an non-stick omelet pan, though if you know what your doing, you can cook eggs in it. I'll stick to my cheap semi-disposable nonstick pans for eggs. It is however everything a good clad stainless pan should be, 18/10 Stainless, triply all the way up the sides and looks good on a rack. The pan has good weight, a comfortable longish riveted handle and it sits nice and flat on a ceramic cook top and is ready for induction. It heats evenly and sears beautifully creating a caramelized crust and all those tasty little bits (tasty little bits is the colloquial term for "fond".) that are supposed to stick to the pan for sauces and gravies. It also goes in the oven without concern.
And then it goes in the dishwasher.

By L. Bower
This pan is fantastic. Extremely well made, and at the price I paid for it, an exceptional deal. Heavy, high-quality stainless steel with stay-cool handle--it could not be improved upon. Great product!!!!

By David R. Bess
I've been wanting to purchase a high quality stainless steel cooking set for some time, but the wife has had her doubts. The lack of non-stick residue in my food really appeals to me, plus stainless will just last a lot longer. After looking at some much more expensive, top-quality stainless steel sets, I came across this brand. Still, my loving wife was reluctant about me making a small investment in a set. SO, I purchased this pan only and started making omelets in it -- if a stainless pan can do well with eggs, it will do well with about anything! On my first attempt I got the pan too hot (it heats very quickly), and as a result created a stinky, smokey kitchen. The wife was not impressed. Now however, I have learned to cook eggs in it, and it works even better than non-stick! This morning the omelet was wonderfully done, and clean-up took a couple of minutes with a non-metal scrubbing pad and a bit of dish washing liquid.
We have an old set of Revere ware that has seen its better days, so now its only a matter of time until Cooks Standard replaces all the remaining pieces. This product is extremely well-made, and is a fraction of the cost of other more popular stainless cookware. It's a super buy!
